Smootv monthly or yearly: which plan is right for you?
Smootv costs €11 for a single month or €69 for twelve months, which works out at €5.75 a month. Over a year, the annual plan saves you €63 compared with paying monthly. In between there are 3-month (€26) and 6-month (€42) plans, and Family plans for 2 to 5 screens at once start at €129 a year. No plan has a contract, and nothing renews automatically.

§ 002 — Family
Smootv Family plans: 2 to 5 screens at once
A personal Smootv plan works on all your devices, but on one screen at a time. If two or more people watch different things at the same moment, you need a Family plan. Family plans run for 12 months.

Two separate yearly plans would cost €138, so the 2-screen Family plan is €9 cheaper and comes with one login and one renewal date.

Your Smootv login arrives in the same conversation, usually within minutes.
There is no contract and nothing renews by itself. When your period ends, we remind you in the chat and you decide whether to continue.
§ 005 — Value
Is the Smootv year plan really worth it?
For most people, yes. The 12-month Smootv plan costs €69, the same as about six single months, so from month seven onwards you are effectively watching for free. Because nothing renews automatically, the main risk of a long plan elsewhere, being locked in, doesn't apply: when the year ends, you simply decide again.
The year plan also includes activation of HOT IPTV Player or IBO Player, the player apps we recommend. Those apps have their own licence, so on shorter plans you would pay for the app separately if you don't already have it.
The only case where monthly makes more sense is when you genuinely don't know whether you will still be watching in a few months, for example during a short stay abroad. Then €11 for one month, or €26 for three, keeps you flexible. You can always move to the year plan later with the same Smootv login.
